The Mission Mountains or Mission Range are a range of the Rocky Mountains located in northwestern Montana. I wish I had more time to explore this mossy lush forest but am very grateful to have spent one full day on the range. You will see I did a large number of vertical panos mainly because I wanted to capture how rich the trees looked as they grew out of a very mossy forest floor that in some parts were in running water. The water falls and streams are abundant and have small channels that go deep in the forests where you hike. This makes the forest overall very damp, cool, and healthy. I felt like I was in the Redwoods at moments because of how fresh and moist the air was. The Mission Range is another place I wish to return to in the future.
