Hawaii is definitely a place you think you can see in its entirety within a week, but really can't. I managed to see one half of Oahu in 7 days and still felt like to fully engage in what it had to offer would take months. I couldn't get enough of Oahu's sunsets, forests, and overall energy emitting from nature. It is truly a spiritual place. My main goal while visiting O'ahu was to see and capture the bamboo forests near Honolulu Manoa and the Watershed Forest Reserve. Inside the gallery of images you will find a very wide horizontal panoramic of the Bamboo Forest at Round Top. The actual coverage of space on the trail is about 50 feet in this large scaled photograph. This pano can be printed up to 6 feet tall by 57 feet long! I really wanted to give the viewer the feeling of actually walking up a path while looking in one direction, or to stand back and pan your head 180 degrees. I have printed segments of the main pano at 4 feet by 6 feet and they are very sharp and vibrant.
